Palmlite is the industrial division of the Penner Farm Services Group, providing design, installation, service, maintenance, repair services for generators (industrial, agriculture, home), transfer switches, electric motors, pressure washers, pumping equipment and more. Our in-house electricians will design and install a custom system to fit your application needs.

We stand behind our products 100% by providing 24/7 emergency service in the shop or on the road. Our dedicated team are certified technicians and journeyman electricians.

Preventative Maintenance

We provide comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for our generators, transfer switches, pumps, pressure washers and electric motors.

Our preventative maintenance program includes a mobile load bank test trailer (up to 800kw/600v) to test and exercise your backup generator systems.

We offer a 50–point inspection on generator and transfer switch preventative maintenance:

Cooling system
Lubrication system
Air system
Starting system
Operational checks (simulate power failure)
Run under load
Transfer to and from utility power
Cool down and shut down generator
Controls system checks

Power Generation

Design and sales for a variety of power generation needs for industrial, commercial and agricultural applications. We specialize in diesel, natural gas, propane and PTO. We are a proud member of Electrical Generating Systems Association, and have a factory trained John Deere OEM engine specialist.

Residential Generators

Provide protection for your family and possessions with an automatic standby power unit for your home or cottage. Our standby units give you peace of mind during inclement weather and keeps you out of the dark when your permanent power supply goes down.

Generator Rentals

We maintain a current fleet of rental generators for emergency standby and prime power applications.

Palmlite Rentals caters to your needs, whether you are an agriculture business looking to rent equipment for your farm, a commercial or industrial business looking to rent power generation products, or an individual looking to rent a generator for personal use.

Our rental fleet includes units from 8kw – 125kw with a fuel tank, and come in both trailer–mounted mobile and skid mount configurations in various voltages and fuel types.

Portable Generators

Our wide variety of portable units provides you with reliable power in a small package, wherever you need it. Whether you need protection during a power outage, temporary power while camping, or something to run tools on the job site, we have the solution to meet your needs.

Transfer Switches

We carry a wide range of Transfer Switches.

For industrial, commercial and agricultural application we recommend the ASCO 300 Series.

For critical seamless transition, we would recommend the ASCO 7000 Series.

Transfer switches can also be used for load shedding during peak times to save utility costs. For these applications, we would recommend the ASCO 7000 Soft Load Series.

We carry a line of Briggs & Stratton transfer switches for residential and cottage applications.

Custom Electric Controls

We have a complete design and fabrication team that can custom build controls for your specific needs. We specialize in industrial, commercial and agricultural control systems. We provide installation service for all the controls that we fabricate, and we work with provincial labour boards and the CSA for application approval

Electric Motors

We keep an inventory of standard motors (single phase and three phase applications in all voltages) to keep you up and running with minimal downtime.

We are an authorized warranty depot for Baldor and Leeson electric motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft starters. Our factory–trained technicians provide general service and complete rewind and rebuild services, while technicians are on call 24/7 to provide in-house and on-site services.

Our rewind services are typically performed much faster than ordering a new specialty motor from the factory. We are a proud member of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association

Pressure Washers

We are a certified warranty depot for Cat and Landa pressure washers and sell complete units in gas, diesel, and electric. We also sell pressure washer heaters from Landa and Magikist that are fired with diesel, natural gas or propane.

We carry a wide range of portable and stationary pressure washers for homeowners, small business, industrial, commercial and agricultural.

Pumping Equipment

We sell and service submersible pumps for a variety of applications including municipal lift stations, agricultural use, and lagoons.

All of our pumps are backed by our 24/7 service team and have a complete preventative maintenance program that includes controls diagnostics and servicing.
